Nuclear Now is premiering in theaters starting on Friday, April 28th in New York and Los Angeles where it will screen through May 4th. It is also being released across the U.S. in over 300 theaters starting on May 1st but will only be in theaters for one day in most location but through Thursday, May 4th in select theaters.  After that, the film will be available through streaming services.  Stay tuned for more information about where to see it.

Save your seat for a special screening of Oliver Stone’s documentary NUCLEAR NOW at the Alamo Drafthouse (and eat dinner in the theater). Plus enjoy an in-person Q&A after the film with the following special guests:

  • Paris Ortiz-Wines is the global director of Stand Up for Nuclear. The organization’s mission is to advocate for the protection and continuation of nuclear energy in order to build a sustainable clean energy future.
  • Dr. Dinara Ermakova is an alumna of UC Berkeley’s Department of Nuclear Engineering. She supports nuclear advocacy groups, young professionals in nuclear, and non-profit organizations with a focus on climate change to promote nuclear energy as a way to decarbonize the global economy.
  • James Hopf is a nuclear engineer and MIT alumnus who retired early to devote his time to climate advocacy.
  • Ryan Pickering is an energy policy researcher and environmental justice activist from Berkeley, California, with 12 years of experience in the solar industry.

The Q&A will be moderated by Guido Núñez-Mujica, senior data scientist at the Breakthrough Institute, computational biologist, science communicator, and environmental and climate activist.
