To meet the unprecedented challenge that is climate change, we need the broadest coalition demanding that zero-carbon energy grids be deployed to meet humanity’s growing energy needs. The Climate Coalition is for those who are willing to work together with everyone who is committed to eliminating mankind’s emissions and restoring our climate. This is the most cataclysmic crisis humans have ever faced: we certainly cannot afford to bicker over which low-carbon solutions are better and work to close existing sources of clean energy—such as safely operating nuclear power plants—or seek to restrict the options available. Supporters of all types of low-carbon energy technology—wind, solar, nuclear, hydro, geothermal, wave, storage, efficiency, CCS and anything new that comes along—need to work together to achieve 0% emission grids as quickly as possible. We cannot do that by fighting each other!
