* Who said “Winning Slowly Is the Same as Losing”? Ironically, it was Bill McKibben who titled an article in Rolling Stone with those words, even though McKibben has been unwilling to come out publicly in supportof an “all of the above” clean energy approach despite privately acknowledging that nuclear should be included. Similarly, the authors of an article entitled The Grid Needs a Symphony, Not a Shouting Match, Mark Dyson and Amory Lovins are the ones arguing the loudest against nuclear energy, our most powerful source of clean energy—as if a symphony would work with only strings and no brass, percussion or rhythm.
